I think it's common for people to think of under developed countries when they think of poverty. However, what many people fail to realize is that the US is steadily falling into this category, as our infrastructures erode. Organizations like our neighbors at the <a href="http://www.delanceystreetfoundation.org/" rel="nofollow">Delaney Street Foundation</a>, that are dedicated to assisting people, are our best answer to this erosion. Where government has been failing us, it's good to know they're there. Homelessness is certainly a difficult problem and a serious one.
