Lauren Scime is an web designer / developer, artist and curator currently working in the San Francisco Bay Area, and co-owner of the web design firm Object Adjective located in the SOMA district of San Francisco. Lauren has over 10 years of experience designing websites and print collateral. She acquired her Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute, and her Bachelor of Fine Art from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Aside from her work as a designer and developer, she is actively involved in the fine art scene, and frequently curates exhibitions and shows her own artwork throughout the United States. She currently holds a studio residency with Root Division, in San Francisco, where she also teaches community education classes in painting, Adobe software, and XHTML/CSS.

She has a penchant for penguins and robots, and in her free time she enjoys playing with electronics and sensors, going out for sushi, reading comics and hanging with her boy (er...business partner and fiance) Jeremy Anderson and their feisty little black dog Squiggy "Monster" Normal.
